Steve Jobs - February 2012

For a quarter of a century, millions around the world have been embracing and eagerly panting for Apple's next product. For Steve Jobs's next breakthrough. For people to beg, "take all my money, but give me one of all your products!"

He was that memorable.

Hello viewers. February Person of the Month is none other than the brilliant mastermind Steve Jobs. From the Apple II to the iPhone 4, from the day he was born to the day he died, Steve Jobs is someone each and every one of you can learn from.

Why?

Childhood: One thing you should know about Steve Jobs is that he was adopted, yet those parents were incredibly kind to him. Once, they even moved a whole neighbourhood because Jobs said to them, "I don't like my school. The kids are rough, the education isn't very high standard . . . I really don't like it." Sometime after his school, he started working for Hewlett Packard (HP), and later, when he was working with Pixar, Jobs was the first person to mix animation with real life actors. He started with the Apple 1, and Apple, 2, and not many people liked it. When he told his company he was going to invent a little rectangular machine called the iPod that could play music, the people thought he was crazy. But now, they can't believe that they ever uttered those thoughts. For Steve Jobs has been immensely successful, a little too successful, if you ask me, though. But the greatest thing he has ever done is be successful enough to get a stop on Awesomeness's Person of the Month, maybe even year. Well, anyway, the iPod got SOOOOO famous, his name started getting well -known. He became incredibly optimistic, confident and felt extremely motivated.

Why I chose him: I chose Steve Jobs because he follows his dreams, he was a good person, and he is incredibly inspirational to others. Steve is a hard working young fellow (well, I wouldn't say young) and each and every person can learn from him. (Including me, and I want to be a singer and actress when I grow up . . .)

How has he changed us magnificently in the past decade?
