Person of the Month January 2012

Kermit the Frog

Do you know this person? I am sure at least 99.999999 percent of you guys have at least heard of him.

Kermit the Frog has entertained other people ranging from ages 6 to 106, ever since his first appearance, which took place in 1955 in Jim Henson's five-minute (!!!! 30 MINUTES is too short for me with films made by that guy!) puppet show - Sam and Friends. Since then, Kermit the frog has been stuck in the back pockets of so many people as a television host, an actor, a recording artist and even an author. His gleeful and cute smile brightens people's hearts day after day after day.

Big Comeback

After filming his last movie, Muppets In Space, Kermit the frog, Miss Piggy, Fuzzy Bear, Gonzo and so many other fabulous characters made their big comeback in Disney's The Muppets, which released in to the theaters on November 24, 2011. (Scroll down to my blog archive and check out my review on that.)
4 and a half stars, I tell you!

I chose Kermit the Frog because I find him a phenomenal actor, and also a very inspirational person. Then again, I want to be a singer and actress when I grow up . . .

Wizards of Waverly Place, Wizard Competition - Review

Wizards of Waverly Place - The Wizard Competition

Wow. I have to say, I am really happy with how they ended this episode. Without spoiling, I'm just going to say that even though not everyone could be full Wizards, like Alex's last line, "Oh, look, we're all happy at the same time!"

Summary: When Professor Crumbs declares the beginning of the Wizard competition, Alex, Justin and Max are in for an epic battle to see who wins the Wizard Competition. Featuring flying griffins and treacherous labyrinths, the winner is immensely unpredictable.
Yet there must be a winner.

Characters: Alex - A fun-loving, humorous and (ahem) lazy young wizard. Justin - Intelligent, Serious, and obsessed with Wizardry. The oldest. Max - The youngest. May not be the brightest, but will always be the funniest!

Notes: First of all, I would like to point out that I was quite disappointed with the tasks. The last one was pretty good, but I think with the first three they could have created WAY more suspense. You know, they probably should've made a movie out of this! It sure would have been a big hit.
But other than that, I simply adored this final episode of Wizards of Waverly Place. Made for kids who love comedy, suspense, adventure and kids who are simply longing to find out who wins the wizard competition.

Good vs Evil (Riddle)

Just a riddle I wanted to share with you. After 3 guesses from 3 different people, I will post the answer.
And I will not tell you if the guesses are right or not.

Here goes . . .

Two spies went into a bar, and each ordered a beer with ice. The bartender, however, was a bad guy. Seconds later, he received a call from his boss; "Poison the drinks in whatever way you can." And so the bartender, a very obedient old man, did.

The first spy immediately got a call from his boss; "You have an extremely urgent meeting. Drink up and report to the command center at once." The first spy did as he was told.
The second spy, who never received a call, drank his drink slowly, savoring every last drop.

The first spy survived. The second spy did not. Why?

Muppets review

Here is yet another super califragilistic review on a movie called . . .

The Muppets!

Before I start this review I would just like to tell everyone that I saw this movie on New Years Eve. Kick Butt Awesome!

Walter, who has a very large resemblance to a Muppet, has set out with his brother Gary and Gary's girlfriend, Mary, on an their 10th aniversary trip to Los Angeles! Walter is very excited not only because he is going on a vacation, but because in L.A. is the place where none other but the original Muppet Studios is! But Walter's happiness is short - lived, for he hears of a plot about an oil tycoon named Mr. Richmond trying to tear down the precious studious. After hearing this, Walter, Gary and Mary head straight to see Kermit the Frog and ask him for advice, so they can raise ten thousand dollars and bring back the studio, along with (later finding out) the Muppet name. The wise and gentle frog concludes that the only way to raise ten thousand dollars is to bring the Muppets back together and put on one final show. Will Walter, Kermit, and all of their friends be able to keep the Muppet show with the amount of doubts they are recieving? And how is this playing in to Gary and Mary's relationship?

I think the people who made this movie did a really great job with it, because (1) They were able to make not just one plot, but many more, and leave the readers hanging on the edge of their seats, (2) It was well-planned, and (3) Honestly! This movie is laugh- laughing knee-slapping milk-snorting HILLARIOUS!!!!!!! (well, maybe just at the end. Truthfully, the beggining is pretty slow.)

The plot of this movie is really interesting because not only does it keep you on the edge of your seat, it makes you fall back in laughter, too. My favourite characters are Kermit and Walter because they always keep a postitive attitude and help eachother out. From this movie, you can really learn that everyone has something special about them, and no one should give up and believe. Plus, there are a lot of songs, so that's good!

From this movie, I made a promise to myself that I would hold the muppets in my heart forever.

(New thing! I got this from my friend) Grade: A

Poll

I would just like to ask everyone to please answer the two polls! The first one is about what you think there should be more of on my blog, the second one (you might need to scroll down a bit) is about what superpower you would like to have. Especially the first one, I would really REALLY appreciate it!
